Nice truck

3.0
I purchased this truck brand new and at 3900 miles I started to have a misfire. The warranty put a refurbished rebuilt engine in it. I was not aware that the warranty doesn't put new parts in just refurbished rebuilt parts. I traded in and lost my favorite blue truck. Not a fan of the whole process. Love the truck just not how the warranty went. I would not own another brand or model the 2020 is the nicest riding and looking. Just got a bad motor from the manufacture.โฆ
Well done GM

This truck has a 10 speed transmission that you can barely feel it shift. Traded in an F150 and test drove a similar equipped Ram. Although the Ram was nice, the styling of the GMC won me over, along with the tailgate! It also pulls my boat way better than the Ford, just smoother all around. The cabin is very quiet and the gas mileage is much better than V8 Ford. The cabin is super quiet and the ride is awesome. Love the adaptive cruise control too. The technology is fine and the screen is plenty big. Remember, you are driving this truck, not going to thr drive in! Most importantly, the controls are simple to use and Bose stereo sounds great! Oh, and I got it cheaper than the similar Ram too!โฆ
WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER GMC TRUCK

Purchased our AT4 new in June of 2019. It has been at the dealership for the drivers seat cracking 4 times in less than 2 years. They just keep replacing the seat cover and not willing to figure out why it keeps cracking. These seats are advertised as leather but they are not all leather. Just part of them are leather and the sides are vinyl.
There have been multiple recalls on the vehicle.
This is also the 4th time it has been in for 4WD issues. Multiple times the truck has given us the service 4WD light. We have took it in every time and was told that it does not pull any codes. Well January 27, 2021 there was a horrible popping noise coming from the front passenger side. Took it straight to the dealership. They put it up on the rack and said we had a broken axle. Ordered the part and had it put in for us to pick up on February 8th. We had the truck less than 24 hours and it started making the same noise. Immediately took it back to the dealership. The tech drove it around the lot, put it back up on the rack and was able to move the axle around with his hand. Had to leave the truck with them. They called the next day saying that the whole front differential had to be replaced due to there was metal shavings in the fluid. Today is now April 1, 2021 and our truck is still sitting at the dealership waiting on the part. Was originally told that GM shipped the part back at the beginning of February but it never arrived at the dealership. Was then told by GM that they would not ship another part until the one they shipped was located. We have made calls to the dealership and GM every other day and now being told that their is not a part available for the truck. We was lied to last week from GM by a rep telling us another part got shipped but could not provide a tracking or a ETA of the part. It should not take 8 weeks and counting to have a warranty repair done.
This is the first GMC vehicle that we have ever purchased and it will be the last. We are going back to Ford Trucks as soon as this thing is out of the shop. I will update this whenever we finally get it back.โฆ
