The truck had run flawlessly for four years. I did experience a water leak this past February, due to time my warranty no longer applied. BUT I did purchase a aftermarket at time of purchase, w/ some coaxing the warranty company paid for the repair in full. So Iโm very happy !โฆ

Troubles started at 35,000 miles..cargo light was leaking causing damage to interior head liner warranty replaced.air conditioner compressor bearing went out, warrant replace.. junction box disconnect causing dead battery found and fix after 3rd time ,left rear axle replaced and still have noise from rear housing waiting on transmission or drive shaft to fail..needless to say $42,000 truck that is only worth $23,000 after 2.5 yrs..I went to a canyon for better gas mileage it the same as my 8 cylinder Sierra which was a much better truck for the money..my 02 s 10 is a better truck than this canyon..sorry GMC but I now have a bad taste in my mouth over this lemon..โฆ
Honestly the WORST mistake I have ever made

First off, this will be my honest review of my 2021 LEMON, I mean Canyon. Bought this truck 5 months ago and so far it has been back to 2 different dealerships 5 times and a total of over 40 days. The truck looks sharp but that is where the good ends. I bought the Denali package and for being their top of the line, it is very underwhelming and identical to the 2016 model on the inside. The seats are stiff and the leather is showing waving in less then 5000 miles. Roughly a month after picking up the truck I noticed what felt like brakes dragging. I took time out of work and took it to the dealership twice to have them call me 2 days later and say they couldnt replicate the problem and maybe I was "imagining" it. They must think 11 miles per gallon is normal. After a month of driving it with the brakes dragging I was down to rotor and needed all new brakes. This is a new truck with 3000 miles and already needed brakes. Well the pads were on backorder for 32 days. They do the brake job, I pick the truck up and same thing again. I drive the truck for 2 weeks until I can get it to another dealer where I am notified it needs all new pads and rotors all the way around again. They replace them and guess what, same problem again. Now my truck is 5 months old, has less then 4500 miles and has had 2 new sets of pads and rotors put on it and is going back to the shop to try to get fixed again. $45k and I have a truck I cant drive and GM is basically making me get a lawyer to try to resolve this. By far the worst purchase experience of my life and the worst company support I've ever encountered. My grandpa worked for GM his whole life and the way this is being handled has made him say his next new truck will be a Ford or a Dodge. GM Case number [SR:9-6479676159]โฆ
